General Guidelines

  • A passenger below 12 years is considered a child; above 12 years, an adult.
  • Standard hotel check-in time is 2:00 PM and check-out is 12:00 PM.
  • Visa fees and flight tickets (onward & return) are non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Once airline tickets are issued, penalty charges will apply for any date change.

Travel and Transportation

  • In some cities, there are coach travel restrictions. The tour manager and driver will strive to drop guests as close as possible to the sightseeing locations.
  • The registration amount paid at the time of booking is non-refundable and interest-free.
  • No refunds will be provided for expenses due to unforeseen circumstances such as flight delays or cancellations, airport closures, accidents, natural calamities, medical emergencies, visa issues, or supplier-related disruptions.

Visa and Documentation

  • The company is not responsible for visa rejection or delay. The granting of a visa is entirely at the discretion of the respective Embassy/Consulate.
  • Visa fees, airfare, insurance, hotel advance, and service charges are non-refundable, even in the case of visa rejection or delay.
  • In the event of a visa rejection for one passenger, if their travel companion with a granted visa cancels the tour, cancellation charges will apply.
  • The company only assists in documentation and submission. The final outcome is beyond our control.

Passport and Immigration

  • Loss of passport involves major consequences including police reports, reissuance, embassy visits, and extra expenses – all of which must be borne by the traveler.
  • Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the return date of travel.
  • Inaccuracies or errors in visa details are the responsibility of the issuing authority, and One Steps Tours is not liable for the same.

Accommodation and Room Sharing

  • Single travelers may be required to share rooms. If no match is available, a single supplement fee applies.
  • Room types (queen bed, twin beds) are subject to hotel availability.
  • Triple sharing is allowed for up to 3 persons. Extra beds are often rollaway or sofa beds.
  • Children without a bed will not be provided one. If an extra bed is later required, charges must be paid directly to the hotel.

Baggage and Personal Belongings

  • You are solely responsible for your baggage and personal items throughout the journey.
  • Loss or misplacement of essential documents (passport, visa, tickets) may result in trip curtailment and additional expenses, for which you alone are liable.

Health and Fitness

  • Tour participation requires a reasonable level of fitness. Walking is a part of the tour.
  • We accept no liability for illness, injury, death, or any medical situation.

Tour Itinerary and Operations

  • The company reserves the right to postpone, alter, or cancel tours without prior notice. In such cases, a full refund will be issued, but no compensation will be provided.
  • Itinerary changes may occur due to unforeseen events. Refunds or claims will not be entertained for missed attractions, meals, or services.

Flight and Group Travel

  • Tours are priced for departures from Cochin unless otherwise mentioned.
  • Guests flying from other cities must bear additional costs.
  • Tour cost is based on a group of 40 adults. If the group size reduces, services and prices may change accordingly.
  • Airlines are responsible for issues such as overbooking, baggage loss, meal quality, and seat allocation.

Payments and Documentation

  • Tickets, visas, and travel documents are handed over only after full payment at the booking office.
  • The company is not responsible for losses, damage, or delays caused by third-party service providers such as airlines, hotels, and transport operators.

Liability and Force Majeure

  • The company accepts no liability for accidents, natural disasters, delays, or other force majeure events.
  • In such events, non-recoverable expenses will be deducted, and the balance will be issued as a credit note (Credit Shell) for future travel.
  • Guests will be responsible for any damage to hotel property or coaches during the tour.

Jurisdiction

  • All legal matters will be subject to Ernakulam jurisdiction.

Important Notes

  • No specific time is allocated for shopping unless mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Check inclusions and exclusions of the tour package thoroughly before booking.
  • Tour quotations are subject to change based on fluctuations in service rates at the time of departure.
